THE HARA

THE HARA are a high-energy three-piece alt rock/pop band, with a stage presence likened to that of legendary classics Queen, AC/DC and Guns N Roses with an amped up sound taking influences from a wide range of popular artists such as Bring Me the Horizon, Royal Blood, Arctic Monkeys, The 1975, Panic! At The Disco, Lower Than Atlantis, The Hunna, Nothing But Thieves, Muse, Twenty One Pilots and Yungblud which combines Josh’s stunning vocals, Zack’s gritty riffs with Jack’s punchy drum beats.

TEMPLES

Returning with their third album, Hot Motion, a brilliantly crafted, thoughtfully recorded collection, the album’s propulsive, seemingly immediate songs soon reveal an impressive depth of ideas and energy with subsequent listens because, as its title warns, Hot Motion is not a record that stands still. Temples will play The Venue, Derby as part of a UK/EU tour early 2020.

ABSOLUTE BOWIE BAND

Absolute Bowie are proud to present a brand new stage show “50 Years of Bowie”; a musical journey through the iconic singer's ever changing personas. All of the Starman’s greatest hits are performed plus the band perform tracks from the albums David Bowie, Ziggy Stardust & The Spiders From Mars, Heroes, Aladdin Sane, Hunky Dory and Young Americans through to Heathen, Outside, Reality, Earthling and Blackstar.

JAMES WALSH [STARSAILOR]

Front man of multi-million selling band Starsailor, James Walsh has proven his own worth as a singer-songwriter in his own right. He’s written songs with Eliza Doolittle, Melanie C, Suzanne Vega, and Professor Green– to name a few; as well as writing movie soundtracks. Starsailor’s initial run of success saw both their ‘Love is Here’ debut album and the 2003follow-up ‘Silence is Easy’ hit #2 on the UK charts as they raced to a total of 3 million sales. The band also enjoyed more than their fair share of prestigious gigs, supporting the likes of The Rolling Stones, The Police, The Killers, and U2.

THE JACQUES

Recently signed to Modern Sky, four piece The Jacques head out on their first UK headline tour coinciding with the release of their four song vinyl Born Sore EP. Recently described by When The Wind Blows as “a heavy take on Arctic Monkeys” the band have been recording their debut album which lands in Spring and will once again be igniting stages with their heady mix of angular guitar noise and zeitgeist Dream Pop.

THE SMYTHS

Arguably the band’s most controversial release (the band considered it as a protest album), not only did it do more than anything in pop culture to encourage a generation to become vegetarians, it was the first album to introduce Morrissey’s criticism of the Royal Family. The Smyths present “Meat is Murder “ + more is a 2 set 2 hour show that will celebrate the album in it’s entirety alongside Smiths classics and hits.

The undisputed kings of musical comedy The Lancashire Hotpots are back to bring you another night of madcap music and laughs on their Beerhemian Rhapsoy tour next March. BEANS ON TOAST

Climate emergency? Boris as PM? Rail-melting heat waves? A No Deal Brexit? Beans’ new album could only ever be called one thing: - ‘The Inevitable Train Wreck’. BAD MANNERS

Bad Manners formed in 1976 whilst still at school. Signing to Magnet Records in 1980 the band scraped into the Top 40 with their debut single “Ne-ne-na-na-na-na-nu-nu”, a cover of the 1948 song by Dickie Doo and the Dont’s. The follow up single “Special Brew” went straight into the UK Top 10 at the height of the 2-Tone movement and was the first of many anthemic songs for which the band are known. In 1980 alone the band released two more chart topping singles “Lip Up Fatty” and “Lorraine” along with their debut album “Ska ‘n’ B” and it’s follow up “Loonee Tunes”. Bad Manners became a constant feature in the singles chart over the next few years with tracks such as “Can Can”, “Just a feeling”, “Walking in the Sunshine”, “Buona Sera”, “My Girl Lollipop” and more.
